![]() ![]() Officer Scheer has taken part as a member of the Police Unity Tour team, which honors and remembers Police Officers who have been killed in the line of duty. After taking his knowledge and experience from Corrections, he then graduated from Cape May Police Academy as an Alternate Route in June of 2018. He then went on to work as Corrections Officer at the New Jersey State Prison in Trenton, NJ. In 2017 while attending graduate school Officer Scheer completed the New Jersey Department of Corrections Academy in Sea Girt, NJ. He then went on to complete graduate school at Seton Hall University earning his master’s degree in Human Resources. In 2015, Officer Scheer completed his undergraduate at Montclair State University earning a bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies. ![]() New Jersey and graduated from Jackson Memorial High School in 2011. Officer Fred Scheer was raised in Jackson Twp. He enjoys spending time with his family, friends, and dogs, watching sports, and spending time at the beach. Officer McKemey is currently assigned to the Patrol Division as a K9 Handler with his narcotics/patrol dog, Hugo, and explosive detection dog, Oakley. Since then, he has been a member of the SRT Team, Dive Team, and was a School Resource Officer. In 2004, Officer McKemey became a full-time officer in Medford Township. Shortly after, he was hired by the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department. In 2001, Officer McKemey graduated from the Gloucester County Police Academy. During that time, he began working in law enforcement as a Class II Officer in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. In 2000, Officer McKemey continued his military career with the New Jersey National Guard. After graduating from high school, Officer McKemey enlisted in the United States Army and was assigned to the 82nd Airborne Division. Officer Ed McKemey grew up in Collingswood, New Jersey, and attended Collingswood High School where he wrestled and played football.
